Essay

The dissertation is a theoretical and experimental investigation of the problem of development of professional orientation of students of higher medical education institutions. Based on the analysis of pedagogical and psychological literature, teaching practice the dissertation ascertained the essence and structure of the professional orientation of students of higher medical education institutions, determined criteria (cognitive, motivational and evaluative, emotional and volitional, behavioral), indicators and the level of its development.
