Granat O. The musical-drama theatre as a phenomenon of the Ukrainian culture (based on the material of Chernihiv region at the end of the XIX century and at the beginning of the XX century)

The dissertation deals with art studying and cultural analysis of the main aspects concerning the musical drama theatre formation in Chernihiv region at the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century as a cultural-topographic and subethnic system which was established by the folklore sources as a song and folk drama symbiosis. The most fruitful and actual for the musical art development in the region was the synthesis of professional art forms and the forms created by folk artistic work. The research proves that the regional component has an enormous value for the development of any kind of art and the evolution of musical drama art in particular.
