Dissertation is devoted to searching the ways and means of optimization of pedagogical intercourse in higher educational institutions. The conceptual model of optimal pedagogical intercourse in academies, based on synthesis of methodological-theoretic of subjective-valued approach and positive psychotherapy, has been substantiated. Psychological mechanisms of optimization of pedagogical intercourse in higher educational institutions have been proved. They are balance of freedom and responsibility, of acceptance and justice, of personal and professional identities, of interpersonal and pedagogical contacts, which are integrated by basic psychic abilities for love (affective-valued potential) and for cognition (subjective-instrumental potential). Structure-functional indices of pedagogical intercourse in academies have been diagnosed. Influence of sex and seniority on content and forms of pedagogical intercourse has been determined.Experimental program of optimization of pedagogical intercourse in higher educational institutions, based on psychotechnics of positive psychotherapy, has been elaborated, approved and verified.
