Essay

An attempt to consider ancient concept of ethnicity of tribe and associated with it local-territorial nature of its structure, reflection of this in ethnogenesis of Ukrainians and possibility of use in localization is realized in the thesis. It was determined that locality of tribe conditioned stripe location of archeological monuments, cultural mixture of lager settlements which occupied several localities, classification of small territories in rituals. Was found that tribe was quite distinct with respect to clan, community, nation, early ethnic community as it differed from them by mission.
