Object- purulent-inflammatory complications in soft tissue in patient with diabetes mellitus; purpose - to improve the treatment results of purulent-inflammatory processes in the patient with diabetes mellitus via implementation of intravenous dosed ozonetherapy; methods - clinical, laboratory, microbiology, morphology, biochemistry and statistic - analytic; results - clinical investigations carried on 124 diabetes patients with purulent-inflammatory complications in soft tissue have shown that the clinical course of purulent complications depends on reactivity of patient organism, microbial flora, balance of lipid peroxidative oxidation system, antioxidation defense and oxidation modification of the proteins, level of the glucemia; experimental investigations of ozonotherapy carried on rats with alloxan induced diabetes and with purulent processes in the soft tissue have shown that ozonotherapy had protective capacity on the pancreas, system of hemostasis and proteolysis of blood plasma, but in the old rats ozonotherapy didn't have any positive effect, and on the contrary - the signs of intoxication were more pronounced that made it necessary to use this method cautiously in older patients; on the ground of the data obtained investigating the effect of ozonotherapy in local and systemic application method of rational dosage for every given patient has been worked out and implemented in clinical practice using lymphotoxic test in the complex treatment of the patient with diabetes mellitus the course of wich was complicated by purulent-inflamatory processes in soft tissue ; the result of the dosage dependent ozonotherapy is improving of wound healing process and diminishing of hospital stay of the diabetes patients with purulent-inflammatory complications.
