Kolesova O. Innovation Education in the Paradigme of Information Technologies

The dissertation is devoted to the usage of information technology in contemporary educational process. It deals with the process of "informatization", "technization" and "virtualization" of innovative education; how it influence on personality development and on solution of the pedagogical mission of today. New forms of education, which are embodied by the Internet as a key information technology are considered. Internet is shown as a new form of "open education" that overcomes its classic institutionalized form. It is replaced by the form of society of intellect and knowlege, where the education comes into all spheres of public life. It is shown that the condition of existence of "open education" in a "networked society" is communication. The essence of the current educational paradigm as information and communication is revealded.
