Varnavskykh K. Psychological features of doctor in the process of therapeutic interaction with patients.

The given thesis deals with the study of psychological and psycho-physiological peculiarities of therapy area physicians as the necessary components for successful therapeutic interaction. In the thesis the interconnections of different individual psychological features and qualities of doctors are found and the analysis of each of the features under study with account of age and sex differences is performed. In the given thesis the theory is generalized and the new way to solve the scientific task by means of studying psychological and psycho-physiological peculiarities of the therapy area physicians is established. The knowledge about the role of certain peculiarities of neural processes, empathiness, professional orientation, individual psychological peculiarities of personality (extra/introversion, optimism, emotional stability, dominance, shrewdness, adequate self-appraisal, intelligence, self-control, anxiety, etc.) in professional practice of a physician is deepened due to performed complex of psychodiagnostic researches. The results of the research work enable to perform scientific and educational activity with the students of medical establishments more efficiently as well as to form, develop, and correct professionally important qualities of the doctors-to-be. This, in its turn, leads to their more successful social professionalization, renewal of the prestige of medical experts in the eyes of the community.
