Research object - an array of research, which contain conceptual statements that characterize the international political situation in the Black Sea region. Subject of research - a model of security in the Black Sea region, which are reflected in modern international political concepts. Methodology - a systematic approach that brings together opposite tendencies in the overall picture of the transformation of the political situation in the Black Sea region; used center-perefiriyny approach. Methods: historical, comparative, simulation methods. Scientific novelty: the scientific infrastructure, topics, results and perspetivy internationally political researchs are considered in the field of security in the Black Sea region and the basic model of its security are revealed; improved understanding of the attitudes of researchers to delimitation of boundaries and geopolitical positioning the Black Sea region, identify key patterns in the Black Sea regional safety in the U.S., European, Turkish and Russian concepts, analysis of the conceptual foundations of Ukrainian foreign policy in the region, study of the major threats and opportunities for Ukraine in the context of the Southern vector of foreign policy.
