Essay

The socio-cultural preconditions of formation of S. Baley's scientific views and historical fate of his ideas were found out in the thesis. Philosophical and anthropological basis of psycho-pedagogical heritage of thinker were investigated. Their role and significance in his philosophical and educational conception were defined. Ideological and methodological significance of the educational ideal of S. Baley in the context of the modernization of national education was proved. Heuristic potential of Baley's interpretation of the educational process as a dialogue due to the new challenges of modern education was discovered. The role of philosophical, psychological and pedagogical ideas of the scientist in comprehending of the new requirements for personality of teacher was found out. The possibility of applying of ideas of philosophical and pedagogical conceptions of Baley in education of Ukraine was determined.
