Essay

In the thesis are presented the results of field, laboratory and production study of the impact of different types of soil utilization on soil parameters, such as organic matter, humus, microbiological activity and soil biochemical processes. Field trail was conducted on the experimental field in the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. The content of soil organic matter was affected by the intensity of soil utilization. Using experimental data, the main factors of soil organic matter mineralization and humification of plants residues have been identified. Non-plow tillage combined with application of organic and mineral fertilizers increased soil organic matter (humus) content and improved the restoration of soil productivity. The impact of growing conditions on plants development and yield formation has been established. Obtained results were estimated using the economical and energetical characteristics. The technologies of soil conservation based on minimal soil tillage provided the increase in agricultural crops productivity and decreased the cost for their growing, allowing to increase the profitability level. Using the research results we recommended the most favorable for soil fertility technology of Winter wheat and clover growing in Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine
