Vlasiuk T. Ukraine on the world iron ore market: prospects for development of export potential.

Analyzed experience and considered the state institutions of iron ore industry in the countries - the world's leading iron ore producers, investigated the role of private associations in the regulation of world iron ore market, determined features of functioning of the national iron ore markets in modern conditions, generalized instruments and mechanisms of state regulation of national iron ore markets justified research methodology of the export potential for iron ore market. Researched dynamics, distribution of reserves, production trends and world iron ore market conjuncture, evaluated the prospects of its development; analyzed tendencies of production, geographical structure, the volume of foreign trade operations and supplies the domestic market in structure of Ukrainian producers described their pricing policies, defined competitive position of domestic producers of iron ore on the world market. Identified key problems of the export potential of iron ore in Ukraine, justified priority measures to increase the competitiveness of national producers of iron ore raw materials and proposed their export strategy in the global market.
