Essay

The thesis concentrates on the research of the forms and means of ensuring national security interests of Egypt through its active regional policy. As the main areas of regional policy of Egypt in the sphere of implementation of national security interests are considered Egypt's mediating role in Israeli-Palestinian conflict, peculiarities of the Egyptian-Israeli partnership regarding issues of regional security, Egypt's policy in order to establish Middle East WMD free zone in the context of the Middle East settlement, Egyptian activity against Islamic extremism and international terrorism and resolving of regional problem of division of water resources.
