Essay

Thesis is a generalizing research of culture and life of bulgarian population colony Ternivka in southern Ukraine. It is based on the significant array of archival documents, most of which were first introduced to the scientific field and ethnographic materials the stages of the colony and its social and economic development and ethnic processes within the community. Reveals different aspects of spiritual and material culture of the settlers, the peculiarities of oral folklore and folk songs, the transformation in Customary ceremonial complex, changes in church life, the functioning of school institutions and creation of local theater.
