Dissertation work is devoted to the increase of operating characteristics of necks of shafts of rotors of gas turbines by plasma spraying of the modified ceramic layer, his grinding with the use of involutes stream of coolant, which shuts out the appearance of grinding cracks. The analysis of possible ways of increase of crack resistance of superficial layer are carried out, developed and scientifically grounded the method of modification of sprayed superficial layer, that promotes is crack resistance, saving it heatproofness and heatresistantness. Complex technology of grinding of sprayed ceramic layer is developed for the considerable increase of crack resistance at the high enough performance of treatment which given possibility to advance the polishing modes in three times.
