Ruda O. Scientific and Organizational Contribution of A.H. Alesho (1890-1922) to Antropology, Ethnology and Agricultural Science of Ukraine in the first quarter of ХХ century

The object of study: documentary and literary sources that reflect the life and creative work of O. G. Alesha, including his scientific and organizational activity in the context of development of specialized science in Ukraine in the first quarter of the twentieth century. The subject of study: the contribution of O. G. Alesha in the development of the national anthropological, ethnological and agricultural sciences. The work depicts the major life phases, scientific and reaserch and scientific and organizational work of the scientist in the context of activity of the Ukrainian Scientific Society in the city of Kyiv, Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Ukrainian Peoples' University, and Agricultural Scientific Committee of Ukraine. In order to make a profound historical and analytical research A.H. Alesho's creative development periodization was performed, the major phases of his formation were identified, scientific works were investigated and multifaceted organizational activity was analized. The above steps provide for a decision on his significant contribution in the development of such sectors of the Ukrainian science as anthropology, ethnology and agriculture.
