Essay

A research object is a technological process of polishing of surfaces of large-size wares from wear-resistant materials. An aim is improvement of quality and the productivity of performance of surfaces with wear-resistant materials. Methods - were based on positions of manufacturing engineering, theory of cutting, physics, mathematical analysis, probability theory, and also mathematical modelling. Novelty: A mathematical model of grinding was developed in terms with low rigidity of the technological system, it is proved that in terms of low rigidity of the system increases of productivity can be achieved by a given tightness in the technological system, the first time can be analytically determined energy dependence of the ratio of the radial component and the sum of the radial component of cutting force, the first time substantiates improve the accuracy of processing the conical surface to compensate for wear of the circle and to maintain a constant depth of grinding. Results have been implemented with the economic effect of 105 thousand UAH. per year.
