The thesis is a comprehensive research of theoretical principles and peculiarities of the prospective interpreters' professional intercultural competence development in conditions of higher educational institution. The paper analyzes current topical problems of intercultural communication in contemporary world, intercultural competence development models through the notion of competence and axiological approach. Experimental results of the thesis confirmed the efficiency of the model of professional intercultural competence of future interpreters' formation in higher educational institutions.
