Bila I. Metanovel of G. Pahutjak: text and context.

The objects are Galina Pagutjak's works. The aim is to study the artistic structure of Galina Pagutjak's prose, to single out the characteristics of metanovel. The methods are typological, intertextual, descriptive, semiotics, psycho-analysis, comparative, hermeneutics, mythocriticism, feminist criticism, "close reading". The thesis deals with the analysis in the G. Pagutjak's works in the context of poetics of metanovel. The research of the writer's novels, stories and short stories allowed to single out such characteristics of metanovel as structuring of writer's model of the world, that is based on the opposition of the cruel world to the fabulous shelter, motives of the escape from the world, search of the shelter, lost paradise, peace, love and maternity, modeling of the character's identity, his or her estrangement from the world, intertextual and autotextual constructions, system of repeatable images. The formation of the alternative picture of the world is examined on the micropoetic and macropoetic levels of the texts. Attention is paid to the time and space devices of the three-level model of the world. The accent was made on the advantages of the motive of search, that is shown in the plot variants of search of the shelter, peace and lost paradise in the works. Such types of autointertextuality and intertextuality as allusions, variations of the theme of pretext, retelling of the plot of one story in the text of another one, reference to the pretext, finishing of somebody's or own text are analyzed in the thesis. It was proved that the unity of G. Pagutjak's works is provided with plot schemes and characters. Application spheres are the training courses.
