Koverda V. Transformation of joint investment institutions activity in the conditions of financial globalization.

The dissertation explores the transformation processes in the activities of shared investment institutions as a contemporary primary form of financial intermediation in the world financial market, and as a national and international asset complexes of entrusted administration in the finance and credit institutions under the conditions of the financial globalization, stages of development and genesis of the asset management system of the investment funds in the world market of fictitious capital. The development of shared investment institutions in Ukraine and their integration into the world economy imply solutions of rather significant and pressing issues, including the following: improvement of legislation, defining the conceptual terms of reference, criteria for development, principles of creating and priorities in developing the shared investment institutions management models under the conditions of market transformations, assessment of best practices, and search for ways to refine the activities of shared investment institutions in the Ukrainian market of collective investments. The author has drawn up and put forward the economic mechanism aiming at achieving the balanced impact by investment market entities on managerial decision-making under the conditions of the global financial volatility, viable recommendations concerning the ways to expedite the creation of the Ukrainian market of collective investments.
