Мishurovskaya S. The International legal Protection of the right to private life (the contemporary theory and practice).

The thesis is devoted to the research of development of the right to private life of human being, to the research of the international mechanisms and procedures of protection of the right to private life of human being. In the dissertation the problems of the genesis of the right to private life emergence, development of this right in the political-legal thought, forming of right to private life in international and national law of the XX th century have been illuminated, it is given attention to the assignment of the right to private life in general international law, in regional international agreements and to the mechanism of its protection. In this work the national-legal acts and court decisions of the separate states characterizing the peculiarities of the national implementation of right to respect for personal life have also been analysed. In the dissertation acts of Ukrainian legislation having collisions with the Art. 8 of the Convention for the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, problems of the accordance of the Ukrainian legislation with the international-legal norms on protection of right to private life and ways of its improvement have been investigated, the contents of the right to private life in international law, its concepts and components have been revealed, the development of the institute of the human right to private life in practice of the European court on human rights have been investigated. The problems of the restriction of the right to private life have been considered.
