Objects of study are the processes of socio-economic globalization. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the methodology of the study of the economic nature of social services, evaluation of the effectiveness of their national systems, identifying the causes and nature of the global transformations of social services. Historical and logical method of systematic and structural analysis of economic processes and phenomena, the quantitative and qualitative comparisons of expert assessments and prediction. Given author's definition of the category "social services". Based global nature of today's transformational changes in the system of social services based on the disclosure of their driving forces, the vector direction and the political-legal, institutional and financial mechanisms to implement them. Improved methodology for the study of national systems of social services by systematization of the criteria of their typology. Grounded organizational-economic mechanism of the global transformation of national systems of social services in the format of each of their sectors - public, social and corporate. The complex assessment of compliance of social standards in Ukraine to the European level, as well as sound strategic direction of the national system of social services in the European principles.
