Essay

This thesis is dedicated to improvement of air cooling heat exchange surfaces. New constructive decision of fin-and-tube surfaces which combines features of formation local flow energizer and properties of streamlined bodies was offered. Influence of various geometrical parameters on thermal and aerodynamic characteristics of heat exchange surfaces was analyzed. Acceptable fin inclination angle and range of fin pitch were proved according to the received experimental results. The working equations for heat transfer and flow friction characteristics of tubes with inclined fins depending on configurations and high-speed conditions of incident airflow were experimentally received.
