The peculiarities of the processes of water erosion transportation of pollutants from waste dumps and their redistribution on the adjacent territory by a system of waterprotection measures have been studied. It caused the protection increasing of adjacent areas to the waste dumps from the pollutants proceeds. The assessment methods of environmental hazard dumps have been developed on the basis of a complex approach and have been used in a geographical information system. This system allows to estimate waste bank landscapes according to kinds and the degree of potential ecological danger for a hydrographical network and other elements of landscape. The classification of waste banks is developed accordingly to the level of ecological danger for the components of landscapes, the indexes of correlation of dumps have been received taking into consideration the degree of their action. The information having been received on the basis of the performed researches testifies that the territory adjoining to the waste banks is considerably contaminated with mobile ion-sulfates. In sour dump breeds from рH 3,0-5,5 minerals, there are a lot of manganese, zinc, chrome, lead and other elements. The dissolute by sulphuric acid and then they move with a superficial flow into the adjoining territory. There they are in such forms, which are accessible to the plants, and their concentration achieves a toxic level. The method to clean sour flows and products of water erosion from the dumps of industrial wastes consists of creating story trenches with inculcated in them which neutralizing gabions on the perimeter. The performed researches have shown that the chalky breed of gabions is changing and reducing the acidity of flow waters from 3,85 to 7,10 рН, reducing maintenance of moving metals in flow water, in particular: Ni by 72,9 %, Pb by 63,9 %, Cu by 59,4 %, Zn by 72,9 %, Cr by 63,9 %, diminishing the ecological danger of dumps.
