Malyk H. Pedagogical conditions for implementing competency-based approach in professional education of would-be records managers

The dissertation brings to the fore competency-based approach in Records Information Management professional education as prerequisite of its tuning with international educational trends. Definitions of such notions as "records manager's professional competence", "competency-based approach in Records Information Management professional education", "pedagogical conditions of competency-based approach in professional education of would-be records managers" are presented. Assessment criteria and levels of competence (learning, social, communicative, foreign language, records management, information analysis, information technologies) at different education cycles are discussed. Pedagogical conditions of competency-based approach in professional education of would-be records managers are outlined. The effectiveness of the developed conditions has been proved by positive dynamics of competence development which allows them to be widely applied in Records Information Management education.
