The subject of the dissertation: technological process of diamond-abrasive machining of products made of sitall. The purpose - to increase the efficiency of grinding processes of products made of sitall due to their huge parametrical optimization on the criterion of minimum cost processing technology. Research methods and facility - methods of manufacturing engineering, theory of materials’ cutting process, theory of heat conductivity of the materials, finite-element technique implemented in the software package ANSYS; optimization theory methods. Experimental studies have been conducted using physical modeling, experimental design, correlation and analysis of variance. Theoretical and practical results: the huge parametrical optimization process of diamond grinding products made of sitalls has been implemented in connection to the technological heredity processing associated with depth and structure of the defected joint made at each stage of the operation, what allowed to design effective processes for reducing the cost of the products. Novelty: it has been established for the first time that the use of surface-active material regarding the lubricating cooling liquid reduces significantly (more than twice) the temperature and parameters of defects of the machined surface, which arises during the grinding of sitalls, in comparison with alternative treatment without coolants; for the first time the experimental study has been focused at the effect of the temperature, accompanying the process of diamond grinding of sitalls, at the size and depth of penetration of defects that occur during the process, taking into account the presence of coolants. The degree of implementation: the findings have been implemented at the pilot plant production- LtD "Research Institute" Isotherm, (Russia), Donetsk National Technical University (Ukraine). Scope of use - mechanical engineering.
