Salamatina O. Speech Genre “Interview” in the Modern German-Language and Ukrainian-Language Press: Functional and Pragmatic Features

The dissertation presents a complex linguistic analysis of cognitive, functional and pragmatic features of the speech genre “interview” in the modern German-language and Ukrainian-language press. The procedure of conceptual text modelling has been improved, frame organization of interview has been determined and semantic classification of the modern publicistic German-language and Ukrainian-language interviews has been constructed. Dominant functions within each particular verbal component of interview have been distinguished and systematized. Specific features of communicants’ interaction in the modern German-language and Ukrainian-language interviews have been revealed. The interviewer’s and respondent’s speech strategies and tactics, aimed at realizing their communicative intentions and pragmatic objective have been characterized.7452
