The dissertation deals with the problem of mastering the Ukrainian morphology and forming grammar skills in the elementary school with the Polish language teaching. During our investigation we do theoretical analysis of this problem; we find out, that technique of teaching the second language grammar knowledge are observed as the base of progress of communication ability. It is the first to make a comparative analysis of Polish and Ukrainian morphology in this investigation; we define the concur materials (the 1st group), the materials that overlap (the 2nd group), and materials that are absolutely different in both languages (the 3rd group). That permit us to consider the possibility of knowledge and skills transposition from the native language and take into account interference; to select agreeable forms of presentation and methods in the experimental techniques. The last are used to organize and intensify the transposition and to overcome the interference. Methods and techniques accounts steps of forming grammar skills: knowledge - the primary ability - skills - the secondary ability. The results of the experimental teaching verify the efficiency of our technique. Key words: the Ukrainian as official language, the Polish language, morphology, comparative analysis, degree of matching, partial matching, full matching, complete mismatch, transposition, interference, principles, methods and techniques, grammar skills, communication ability.
