Pidgyrnyj I. Сulture-artistic heritage of the art photography by Michael Greim (second half. XIX - beg. XX centuries).

This dissertation is dedicated to the study of the cultural and artistic heritage of Podillia area through M.Greim's art photography (second half of the 19th century-beginning of the 20th century). The research is focused on the photography art genesis and development, namely in Ukraine; the most prominent masters of light painting art are defined; Greim's photographic art achievements in the context of the formation and development of photographic art in Ukraine are analysed. An analysis has been made to define typological, artistical and compositional peculiarities of his creative compositions, as a unique source of iconographic painting, also the scientific and practical value of his works is proved, mainly for the historical and architecture science, for ethnography, for restoration and protection of monuments in the Podillia area.
