Subject matter - personality agency. Objective - with reference to the existing native and foreign notions of personal activity to determine the structure and systematize the specific forms of manifestation of the agency as an integrative, dynamic, contextualized personality trait, specified in accordance with the phases and stages of its actualization. Methods: theoretical - the analysis of the content-specific psychological literature, modeling; organizational - the comparative method; empirical - quasi-experiment, psychodiagnostic methods (tests, questionnaires, diary method, computer-assisted implicit diagnostic method); statistical and interpretational methods: cluster analysis (K-means algorithm), factor analysis (the method of the principal components) and mathematical criteria of defining the differences (Mann-Whitney-test, Fisher's angular transformation). In the research two components of the structure of the personality agency as an integrative, dynamic, contextualized personal trait have been singled out: meaningfulness and the volitional self-regulation; four types of personality have been defined with reference to the degree of agency, pertinent to it: an active type, a worried type, an executive type and a reactive one; forms of the personality agency have been systematized; the consequential outcomes of the phenomenon have been extended; the role of the emotional stability as one of the criteria of the agency has been demonstrated. The result of the research can be used in the educational sphere and in the psychological practice (diagnostics, counseling).
