Symonenko T. Network information and library support of scientific research

The thesis proposes the information technology for organization the network system for information and library support of research process.The network system for corporate access to subscribed resources of world's leading suppliers of scientific information is designed. The features of this system provide centralized point of access with full range of online services for users of extranet network of the consortium and decentralized access to subscribed sources from local networks of scientific institutions in Ukraine. Main approaches for further development of the network information and library support of scientific research are proposed and analyzed. Conclusions regarding perspectives of establishing of scientometrics technologies and monitoring of documentary information flows are made.
