The object is the process of introduction of the banking activity international standards. The purpose is the theoretical ground of global determinants of introduction of the banking activity international standards and development practical recommendations in relation to their implementating in modern terms. Methods are: methods of theoretical research: abstracting, analysis and synthesis, descriptive analytical method, approach of the systems, inductions and deductions, statistical analysis, graphic method, method of comparison. The methodology of the definition of the banking system stability in the conditions of global instability has been developed. The concept of implementation of the banking activity international standards in Ukraine on the basis of selection of global determinants has been worked out. The evaluation of positive and negative consequences of introduction of the banking activity international standards on the basis of Basel II Agreement for the banking system has been improved. The essence of concept "The globalization of the banking activity" has been formulated. The division of the process of globalization of banking activity into periods has been offered. The sphere of application is international banking activity and the educational process.
