The problem of readiness of future teachers of primary school to develop cognitive interests of students in the process of study Mathematics is considered. On the basis of analysis of scientific-pedagogical literature the importance of concepts "cognitive interest", "training future teachers of primary school to develop cognitive interests of students in the process of study Mathematics", "readiness of future teachers of primary school to develop cognitive interests of students" is given. Educational technologies of development of cognitive interests of primary school students are selected. Modern pedagogical technologies of development of cognitive interests of younger students are analyzed. Structural functional model and didactic-methodical system of training of future teachers of primary school to develop cognitive interests of students in the process of study Mathematics are elaborated and scientifically grounded and its efficiency in an educational process is experimentally tested. The effectiveness of structural functional model of training, the stages of process of training future teachers of primary school to develop cognitive interests of students in the process of study Mathematics are defined and well founded.
