Object of research - particularities of growth, development and formation of winter wheat grain production depending on the sowing time, sowing rate and level of mineral nutrition at seeding after barley spring. Goal - determine of grotechnological and economic efficiency of winter wheat after spring barley depending on the sowing time, sowing rate and the level of mineral nutrition. Methods - field, laboratory, billing, statistics. Results: For the conditions of the northern Steppe of Ukraine optimized elements of the winter wheat cultivation after spring barley. Seeding of winter wheat should be conducted at the end of the second decade of September (15-19.09) with sowing rate 5,0 mln pcs. of germinated seeds per ha. To form 4,5-4,8 t per ha of grain before presowing cultivation make N60P60K30 with following application of N30 in early spring on frozen-melted soil surface and N60 in late tillering phase locally, which gives a grain of 3 class quality with content in grain 11,3% of protein and 24,3% of gluten. Novelty - in a northern Steppe of Ukraine for the first time investigated the impact of sowing time, sowing rate and level of mineral nutrition on yield and grain quality of winter wheat after spring barley. Industry is agriculture.
