Burmich O. Determinants of technological leadership in international business

The thesis contains the results of which are in an integrated approach to study economic factors of the regional leadership of national companies while strengthening the technological singularity of the global economy. The aim of the thesis is based on systematic study of basic economic concepts of modern determinants of global corporate leadership in the context of strengthening of tehnoglobalizm. The object of study is the process of formation and development of tehnohlobalizm. There were used the following research methods: method of abstraction, analysis and synthesis, historic-logical method, comparative analysis, correlation analysis and statistical methods. The scientific novelty of the results is that on the basis of systematic analysis of the semantic characteristics of the technology leadership established features of its contemporary nature, and the estimated technological level of domestic economy, defined institutional means of ensuring regional technological leadership in a strengthening of its singularity. The practical value of the results of the thesis is confirmed by the presence of information about their implementation in practice: the company "Johnson and Johnson Ukraine", Foundation for European integration and DVNZ "Kyiv National Economic University Vadim Hetman." The provisions of the thesis may be methodological framework for the development of major areas of technology policy in Ukraine, the definition of sectoral priorities and the entering of domestic companies in high technology markets.
