The object of investigation are the processes of formation of the international competitiveness of countries in the context of geo-economic development priorities. The study aims to develop theoretical and methodological foundations of studies of international competitiveness and the development of scientific and practical recommendations to determine the optimal direction of international competitiveness of national economies in the context of geo-economic development priorities. Methods: dialectic method of learning, systems approach, analysis and synthesis methods for comparative analysis, statistical and structural analysis of economic-mathematical modeling, etc. Theoretical results: is to deepen existing theoretical and methodological foundations of research geo-economic aspects of international competitiveness and the development of scientific and practical recommendations for optimizing the international economic activities of countries to implement international competitive advantages in the context of geo-economic development priorities. Practical results: lies in the fact that the results form the scientific and methodological basis of international competitiveness of the country through the use of the advantages of geo-economic cooperation. Scientific novelty: for the first time: a mathematical model of economic and international competitiveness of national economies, taking into account the degree of openness and level of economic security, improved: conceptual and categorial apparatus for studying the development of world economy, a definition of "open economy" and "geo-economics"; defined conditions the formation of geo-economic concepts of international development, have been developed: the conceptual framework proposed intellectualized decision support system in managing the balance between openness, competitiveness and economic security, proposed a system of indicators to measure the level of international competitiveness of national economies, determined the structure of the interaction of these indicators, designed hierarchical structure formation of the integral indicators and models for optimizing the parameters of ACS.
