The thesis is devoted to solving important scientific and technical tasks - assessing durability of coated particle board in furniture design. As part of a new method of predicting longevity veneered particle board in the flat and three dimensional stress, on the basis of theoretical and experimental studies demonstrated the possibility of kinetic strength theory for calculating the durability of coated particle board, determined values for the thermoactivation parameters veneered particle board, which determine their longevity in case of deformation and failure in flat or three-dimensional stress states, the regularities of the influence of changes in ambient humidity and variations of thermal and mechanical loads on the laws of the destruction of coated particle board in furniture design
