By a research object are methodologies of studies of future engineers-teachers of sewing profile; aim - to educe conformities to law and progress of methodologies of studies of future engineers-teachers of sewing profile trends in an investigated period with the aim of their improvement in modern terms; research methods are theoretical (analysis of scientific and methodical literature, methods of structure of maintenance, methods of theory of the graphs, design methods, logical generalization and prognostication); historical;sociological (selection fixing, systematization); novelty - certainly and the stages of improvement of engineer-pedagogical education are reasonable in the context of development of sewing industry; recommendations are worked out in relation to the use of positive experience of methodologies of studies of engineers-teachers of sewing profile in modern terms; essence of concept "methodology of studies" is specified engineers-teachers of sewing profile; research results are inculcated in the educational process of the Ukrainian engineer-pedagogical academy, Gluhiv of national pedagogical university of the name of Oleksandr Dovzenko, Luhansk national university of the name of Taras Shevchenko Uman state pedagogical university of the name of Pavlo Tichina
