Komissarenko O. The formation of mathematical competence of the students of engineering specialities of agrotechnological universities in the process of independent work

The thesis deals with investigation the problem of process of forming of mathematical competence of the students of engineering specialities of agrotechnological universities in the process of the independent work of students after classes. As a result the notion "mathematical competence" is determined and a definition is given. The mathematical competence model of future engineers in agricultural industry is theoretically grounded and worked out. Structure of course of higher mathematics is improved by the complex of the professionally oriented mathematical tasks and tasks for independent work, which allow to study professionally meaningful questions and to apply effectively mathematical methods in professional questions. The organization of the independent work of students after classes is investigated. Different kinds of the independent educational work of students in the process of study higher mathematics are offered. The methods of control of educational achievements of students in the process of studying higher mathematics is improved. The process model of forming of mathematical competence of the students of engineering specialities of agrotechnological universities in the process of the independent work of students after classes is defined, theoretically proved and checked up in an experimental way.
