Object - giant stomach ulcers; methods: general clinics, instrumental, endoscopic, morphometric, histological and statistical; the novelty - firstly: for the first time on the grounds of a complex histological and morphometric research of stomach mucous there has been given qualitative and quantitative estimation of moderate and serious displasia in giant stomach ulcers; the algorithm of adequate choice of volumes and surgery way in different types of giant stomach ulcers considering occurrence and the degree of displasia in the mucous coat has been reasoned for the first time; peculiarities of giant stomach ulcers clinics have been studied, frequency and character of the pathology complications and peculiarities of their surgery treatment have been defined; there has been proved that giant stomach ulcers are accompanied with different degree of displasia manifestation in 88,2 % cases that conditions applying the active surgery tactics of the pathology; there has been proved the inverse proportional correlation of dysontogenetic changes in stomach mucous and the degree of bacterial insemination with Helicobacter pylori; the reasonability of applying resection methods in patients with giant stomach ulcers for heavy dysontogenetic changes and cancer stump prevention has been proved criteria of the choosing tactics, ways and terms of surgery intervention depending on the GSU complications structure and localization have been defined; methods of surgery intervention in stomach resection complications, particularly in the loop case, were developed; sector -сhoice of operative treatment of patients with giant stomach ulcers concidering the degree of displasia in the mucous coat
