3. In the submitted paper a complex investigation of the watermarks on the editions of East-Slavonic printers I. Fedorov and P. Mstislavets is proposed, that being carried out according to the original technique developed by the author. The books under investigation are the Moscow Apostle of 1564, the Zabludiv Gospel didactic of 1569, the Lviv Apostle of 1574, the Vilnius Gospel of 1575 and the Ostroh Bible of 1581. The correlation of filigrees on the edition and separate impressions has been ascertained, the dynamics of change of watermarks has been detected, the order of printing of different parts of an edition has been found out, and the data on provenance of the watermarks have been generalized. By means of filigranological analysis the author has found out some new facts of the history of printing of the editions in question. Several filigrees not detected formerly by scholars have been introduced into the sphere of scientific investigation, instances of use of non-watermarked paper stocks have been revealed, unknown variants of printing of separate sheets have been detected.
