Essay

The work deals with the study that all patients with ischemic stroke had elevated levels of inflammation markers such as fibrinogen and hsSRP. Higher values of these proteins is characteristic of patients who underwent aterotrombotycal stroke. Level hsCRP correlated with some of risk factors for stroke (hypercholesterolemia, diabetes, smoking, genetic predisposition to CVD) and their total score; with inflammatory changes of the blood (ESR, the absolute number of lymphocytes) with indicators of hemostasis (RFMK, fibrinogen). Level hsCRP also depends on gender (higher values indicated in men); correlates with the severity of atherosclerotic carotid disease, according to DS (KIM and largest number of unstable plaques). In the recovery period of aterotrombotycal stroke reduction observed concentrations hsCRP, which correlated with the degree of neurological deficit reduction. High values hsCRP combined with hyperfybrynohenemya, lymfotsytozis were indicate an unfavorable prognosis and need more intensive and prolonged therapy with statins.
