The trends and patterns of the origin, development and enrichment of knowledge about ethnographic and folkloristic activity of F.Kolessa are revealed. The accuracy, completeness and objectivity of such knowledge are surveyed. The main stages and directions of studies of ethnographic and folkloristic activity of F.Kolessa.
