Zabolotnyi S. Psychodiagnostics as means of professional selection of the personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine

The thesis is dedicated to the research of psychodiagnostics as a means of the professional selection of the personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The problem of psychodiagnostics of the candidates’ professional suitability to the special conditions of the activity in the process of their professional selection has been theoretically analyzed. The modern technology of psychodiagnostics provision of the candidates’ professionally psychological selection for the military service in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has been improved, as well as the abilities of its modification have been determined in order to improve the effectiveness of the professional selection of the personnel. The effectiveness of psychodiagnostics system modification in the technology of the personnel professional selection of the border guard department of Ukraine using the MMPI methods in order to determine the features of professional unsuitability among the different categories of border guards has been empirically investigated
