Derkach S. Derkach S. P. Professional training of English teachers in Poland

Professional training of English teachers at Polish higher educational establishments has been investigated in the thesis. Peculiarities of reforms in English teachers' training at Polish universities, institutes, higher vocational schools and educational colleges of foreign languages have been studied. The standard of English teachers' professional training at Polish higher educational establishments and graduation qualification requirements for students at universities, institutes, higher vocational schools and educational colleges of foreign languages have been grounded. The content of future English teachers' professional training in Poland has been studied on the data of eight Polish higher educational establishments curricula. The author makes a comparative analysis of English teachers' training at Polish universities, institutes, high vocational schools and educational colleges of foreign languages. Practical recommendations concerning the application of the Polish experience in the English teachers' professional training at Ukrainian universities have been developed at different levels (legislative, organizational and administrative, organizational and methodological, theoretical and practical).
