Object - process of spatial organization of production in the form of agglomeration. Purpose - theoretical studying of agglomeration structures forming, identifying their trends of development in the European economic area and development of scientific and applied principles of agglomeration policy implementation in Ukraine. Methods - logical-theoretical classification, system analysis and synthesis, statistical and economic-mathematical. Novelty - innovative formulation and solution of scientific problems of design principles of agglomeration policy in Ukraine, taking into account international and European experience. Introduced in the Department of foreign relations, foreign investment of Ternopil regional state administration, in Joint European Project TEMPUS TACIS "Crisis analysis and decision-making in Ukraine", JSC "Centravis Production Ukraine" Nikopol, in the learning process of Ternopil National Economic University in teaching subjects "International Economics" "Economic problems of the XXI century". Areas of application - international economics and international economic activity of Ukraine.
