Essay

Object - lipid disturbances in patients (pts) after myocardial infarction (MI) and ischemic stroke, arterial stiffness, coronary artery status. Aim - to improve guality of fisk factor correction in pts after MI on base of assessment of prevalence of dyslipidemias, quality of control, there influences to arterial stiffness and coronary artery status. Newnees - according to the results the high prevalence of the main cardiovascular risk factors was observed. No significant difference between participants after myocardial infarction and stroke was detected in the prevalence of dyslipidemia, as well as in the prevalence diabetes mellitus, abdominal obesity (57,6 low physical activity, smoking. However, patients with stroke in anamnesis had higher prevalence of arterial hypertension (89,8% vs. 8.Less than one - fourth of subjects after myocardial infarction and one - third - after stroke are in control for total cholesterol, defined; less than one -third in two groups have recommended levels of HDL-C, less than one - fourth - LDL-C at goal, defi, more than half - TG levels, as recommended. It has been established very poor patients' awareness in cardiovascular risk factors is for both groups which was positively associated with level of education, job placement and household income. On this basis myocardial infarction patients were more awared in preventive methods and more frequent used them practically. It has been shown that patient after myocardial infarction had tendency to stiffer arteries than individuals with ischemic stroke in anamnesis. It was found the correlation between elastic properties findings and age, hs- CRP, waist, glucose level. The assessment of the coronary artery lesions level was scanned from 176 individuals according to coronaryangiography results. One coronary artery lesion had 49, 4% patient while 50, 6% of them had composite lesion registrated. The most affected was the left anterior descending artery mainly in proximal part. Patients with myocardial infarction had severe level of coronary artery lesion comparisons with the ones with previous ischemic stroke. Results - reasonable ways to optimize secondary prevention were found in pts after MI and ischemic stroke on a base of assessment of prevalence dislipidemias control, there relationship with other risk factors, influences to arterial stiffness and coronary lesion. Results were implemented in practice of a number medical institutions. The field is medicine.
