Zakharova O. Development Potential of the World Transport System

Object: development of the world transport system as an infrastructural component of the world economy. The purpose: Improvement of theoretic and methodical approaches to definition of development potential of world transport system in whole and its separate components, proposing scientific and practical recommendations on deepening of Ukraine's integration into the world transport system. The methods: methods of theoretical generalization, comparisons, grouping and classification, logic, historical, statistical methods, system approach, economic and mathematical methods (forecasting, correlation and regression analysis, linear programming, integrated estimations). It is offered: optimizing approach to estimation of world transport system potential, optimizing model of estimation of Ukraine's transport system potential, ordering of system properties and functions of world transport system, classification of the factors influencing formation and use of world transport system potential and national transport systems of the countries of the world, scientific and methodical approaches: to the analysis of the world transport system, to estimation of development level of national transport systems on the basis of calculation of integrated indicators, conceptual bases of development of transport system of Ukraine.
