Rastogin M. Forming a conceptions of physical picture of the world for pupils of a secondary school in process of teaching Physics

The object of research is an educational process in physics at a secondary school. The purpose of research is theoretical justification of the use of deductive approach to the forming of students' scientific world-view, development and experimental verification of methods of forming ideas about the physical picture of the world of the secondary school pupils. Such methods like literature analyses, pedagogical design, pedagogical observation, questionnaires, interviews, qualitative and quantitative analysis of results of experimental research were used. For the first time methods of forming ideas about the physical picture of the world of the secondary school pupils were theoretically justified and developed as well as verified experimentally (using the deductive approach). The results of research have been introduced into the educational process of seven secondary schools of Kherson and Mycolaiv regions. The developed methodology was generalized as a handbook for teachers of physics to form secondary schools pupils' ideas about the physical picture of the world. These results can be used by the teachers of physics, students of physics departments of the pedagogical universities, employees of in-service training courses.
