3. The object of research is the process of international sports mega-events organizing. Purpose - theoretical justifying the processes of positive social and economic effects of international sports mega-events hosting for national economies, and on this basis development the model of economic efficiency of their hosting in Ukraine. Methods - generalization, economic and statistical, comparative, cluster and correlation analysis, economic and mathematical modeling, seasonal decomposition, strategic management. The novelty lies in the justification of the theoretical and practical aspects of international sports tourism in the form of international mega-events, in particular, the formation of social and economic effects of their hosting, and develop on this basis organizational and economic model to ensure the effectiveness of their hosting in Ukraine.
