Essay

Object - reactions [2+3]-cyclocondensation of 4-thiazolidones, reactions of condensation, acylation, alkilation for synthesis; aim - synthesis and investigation of physical and chemical properties 2-thiazoline-4-ones and 2(4)-imino-4(2)-thiazolidones and search of biologically-active compound among them; methods - organic synthesis, NMR-spectroscopies (1H та 13С), mass-spectrometry, X-ray analysis, elemental analysis, pharmacological screening, COMPARE, QSAR, molecular docking; novelty - methods of synthesis and structural modification of 2-thiazoline-4-ones and 2(4)-imino-4(2)-thiazolidones, found that 2-arylamino-2-thiazolin-4-ones and 4-amino-derivatives isomeric to them, exist in crystalline form in the aminoform, studied their pharmacological activity; results - the methods of synthesis and conversion of 2-thiazolines-4-ones and 2(4)-imino-4(2)- thiazolidones, identified highly active compounds, possessing anticancer, and antituberculosis antiviral activities, proposed recommendations for the design of anticancer agents from a group of 2-thiazolines-4-ones and 2(4)-imino-4(2)thiazolidones; introduced into scientific and educational process of Zaporizzhia State Medical University and National University "Lviv Politechnic"; area - pharmacy.
